Throughout my time at the University of Oklahoma and in my nonprofit internships, I have worked to develop practical skills that will benefit me in my future career. Below are a few examples of skills I have refined at OU and beyond.
Through classes taken at OU and my recent internship experience, I have refined the writing skills that are essential for a public relations professional.
Over the past several years, I have gotten the opportunity to plan multiple large scale events for students at the University of Oklahoma in addition to a medium and large scale event for the Norman Regional Health Foundation.
Design is a skill that I have recently been working to improve through school coursework, my internships, and campus organizations.
Through various PR classes at OU and my internships, I have been able to gain experience in social media strategies and the behind the scenes of digital communications.
