Social Media

My classes in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communications have taught me basics of social media strategies and best practices. With this knowledge, I have created a social media revamp campaign book, a pitch deck, and run my own social media campaign.
Social Media Strategies Campaign for Infant Crisis Services
For my Digital Design class, I created an 12-post Instagram grid for a local nail salon. This project combined all the skills I had learned throughout the year on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to create a cohesive grid that matched the color palette and aesthetic of the salon's branding.

I worked with a group of 5 other students to create a social media revamp campaign for Infant Crisis Services. This included a social media audit, primary and secondary research, creating a new brand story, and writing a 3 month content calendar for Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
While the contents of the campaign was a group effort, I compiled all of our work in the final campaign book. I created the book in InDesign.
For the 3 month content calendar, we split the days among our 6 group member. Our goal for each day was 1-2 Instagram posts, 1-2 Facebook posts, and 9-12 tweets. I was personal responsible for creating content for Saturdays and Sundays on Instagram and Facebook and tweets for February 16-29.

For PR Writing, I created a pitch deck for my hypothetical client, Fenty Beauty. As a part of the pitch deck, I came up with objectives, target audiences and core messages for the brand, specifically in relation with Rihanna's charitable foundation, The Clara Lionel Foundation.
UPB Presidential Instagram Campaign
As a part of my campaign for UPB President, I created feed posts, story posts and graphics for my campaign Instagram account. A few of these graphics can be found on the Design page of my website.
